About a year now.
How long have you been keeping fish?
I had fish in primary school but only started keeping them again when I helped my girlfriend maintain her tank!
What was your first aquarium and what fish did you keep in it?
It was a 60 litre tank I got from an auction and I kept guppies, dwarf gourami and corys.
What species do you most enjoy keeping and why?
I enjoy keeping my Siamese flying fox’s because they are a very nice fish and very active.
What pearl of wisdom would you give to first-time Fishkeepers?
Be patient and don’t be scared off when things go wrong
What would be your dream aquarium?
My dream aquarium would be a mixed reef tank, but probably not much bigger than 4ft.
What’s your favourite aspect of work at Maidenhead Aquatics?
Getting to learn so much more about fish than I ever though I’d know and the hobby in general.

How many fish can I put in my tank?
What’s your secret fishkeeping “top tip”?
Make sure to vairy your fishes dies so that they get everything they need.
How many aquariums do you currently keep at home, and what are these?
4, Tropical planted tank, small coral tank, shrimp tank, peacock tank.
What do you think is the future of fishkeeping and what developments would you most like to see?
Hopefully more tank bred marines to avoid taking as much from the world

What is it that first got you hooked on fishkeeping?
The amount of variety in the hobby
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned since joining Maidenhead Aquatics?
If the pom-pom crab loses one of its anemones, then it will tear the one in its other hand in half and grow it until it has two full pom poms again.
